This Privacy Policy has been prepared in accordance with Law of the Republic of Moldova No. 195/2024 on personal data protection and taking into account the principles of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

2. What Data We Collect

Through the booking form on the website, we receive the following data:

first name;
phone number;
e-mail address;
check-in and check-out dates;
number of guests;
selected room type;
text of the message, if you have filled it in.

We do not request through the website passport details, bank card payment details, or other data not needed to process your request. Payment for services is made at the hotel or by other methods communicated by the administration.

3. Purposes of Processing

Data is processed solely for:

processing your room booking request;
contacting you to confirm, clarify, or modify the booking;
performance of the contract for hotel services, if the booking is confirmed.

Data is not used for advertising mailings or marketing without your separate consent.

4. Legal Basis

Processing is carried out on the basis of:

your consent, expressed by ticking the booking form and submitting the request;
measures taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (processing of the booking request);
performance of the contract, if the booking is confirmed.

5. Retention Period

Personal data is stored 12 months from the date of the last interaction, after which it is deleted or anonymised, except where longer retention is required by law.

6. Recipients of Data

Booking request data is sent:

to the hotel's internal e-mail receptionist@lunahotel.md;
to the hotel's Telegram bot, which notifies staff of a new request.

Access to the data is granted only to hotel employees who need it to perform their duties.

7. Transfers to Third Parties

We do not sell or transfer your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be transferred to:

technical service providers ensuring the operation of the e-mail and Telegram bot, to the extent necessary for their work;
public authorities, where expressly provided for by law.

Any transfer of data outside the Republic of Moldova, should it take place, is carried out only where the safeguards provided by law are in place.

8. Your Rights

In accordance with the legislation, you have the right:

of access to your personal data and to information about its processing;
to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
to erasure of data where grounds exist;
to restriction of processing;
to object to processing and to withdraw consent at any time (withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it);
to lodge a complaint with the National Center for Personal Data Protection (NCPDP).

The website currently does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Technical cookies necessary for the website to function may be used without obtaining separate consent. Fonts used on the website are hosted on the website's server. External font services are not connected when pages are opened, and your IP address is not transmitted to third parties to load fonts.
